Management
Joe Silins, Owner/Operator
Joe grew up in Phoenix and moved to Tucson in 2000 to attend the University of Arizona. He graduated with degrees in Illustration and Urban Planning, and has immersed himself in construction and natural building since graduation. He has worked on a crew doing custom home builds and remodels, led volunteer workshops for water harvesting installations, and overseen the construction of strawbale, earthen and conventional structures. These experiences, among others, have formed a broad understanding of building systems and approaches, along with a creative design sensibility that serves our clients and our planet. In addition to our in-house skills and expertise, we have a robust network of subcontractors and collaborators in Southern Arizona and beyond to implement projects at a variety of scales and approaches.
